Orchard first
Great cider starts with better fruit.
We put real effort into orchard care because flavour in the glass begins with how the fruit is grown and harvested.
Small-batch, orchard-led cider
Most of our juice is pressed on the farm, and our cider program is shaped by the apples we grow, the season we have, and the flavours we want people to remember.
Fresh. Fun. Handcrafted.
We’re passionate about making cider from fresh, locally grown Nova Scotia apples. Many of our blends start with juice pressed right here on the farm, which lets us keep the fruit character front and centre and build ciders that feel tied to place.
We work with heritage and cider-friendly apple varieties because they bring complexity, tannin, acid, and aroma that are often missing in more generic fruit. The result is a range of ciders that can be crisp and dry, softly aromatic, or juicy and playful, but always rooted in real fruit.
Why small batch matters
Small batches mean subtle changes from year to year and even from run to run. We see that as part of the appeal: a cider should taste like the fruit and weather that shaped it, not just like a formula.

Seasonal diversity
Instead of flattening those differences out, we use them to give each batch its own sense of time and place.
Curious blending
We love building releases around peaches, berries, honey, ginger, and other local ingredients when they make the cider sing.
Bottle highlights
These aren’t the whole story, but they give a good sense of the styles people come looking for at Vista Bella Farm.
Brute Dry
Rustic, bright, and refreshingly dry.
Brute Rosé
Elegant structure with subtle berry tones.
Perry
Gentle pear character and a clean finish.
Sour Cherry + Currant
A distinctive seasonal blend with real personality.
Taste the seasons
Our seasonal ciders highlight what is tasting best and feeling most exciting at that moment. If you stop by during tasting-room weekends, there’s a good chance you’ll find a release that won’t be around for long.
