Independent branch

Built for hay cut timing context

Use this as a planning aid and adjust with forage quality targets, stand condition, and real field growth.

Calculator setup

Select stations, define the cut window, and compare the accumulated GDD against rough planning ranges for each hay type.

Loading stations...
Decision-support only: Model outputs depend on weather data, user inputs, and biological assumptions. Verify results with field scouting, local field conditions, product labels, agronomic advice, and applicable regulations before acting.

Use the searchable checkbox list instead of Command-click. The hidden selector stays in sync for saved setups and report generation.

Cut reset dates

Enter completed cut dates to reset accumulation. If the target cut date itself is filled in, the report treats that cut as completed. Otherwise it runs through the selected report end date.

Custom planning range override

Use this if you want to override the rough default GDD planning ranges for your hay type.

Before acting on this report, confirm crop stage, field conditions, scouting observations, product labels, and local regulations.

Choose stations and click Generate hay cut report.

Planning legend

These are rough planning ranges for cut-to-cut accumulation. They are not hard thresholds and should be refined with local forage goals, stand health, and harvest quality targets.

Hay type Cut 1 Cut 2 Cut 3 Cut 4

Suggested ranges are meant as a conversation starter for growers, not a replacement for field observation or forage quality sampling.

Saved forage fields

Save a field, weather-station selection, and cut history so you can reload the same setup later and keep counting from each cut.

Saved field setups stay in this browser unless you clear local storage.

Report output

Each row shows one station’s accumulation window for the selected cut and selected accumulation basis. Completed cut-to-cut segments are listed separately above the main report so growers can keep a running record by field and station.

Decision-support terms

PEI agronomy dashboard use agreement

These PEI agronomy tools are provided as decision-support aids only. Weather data, heat-unit accumulations, disease-risk estimates, insect phenology estimates, irrigation estimates, and scouting prompts may contain errors, gaps, delays, or assumptions that do not reflect actual field conditions. You must verify outputs with field scouting, local observations, crop stage, field history, product labels, agronomic advice, and applicable regulations before making crop management decisions. Agnostic Agronomy, associated contributors, developers, data providers, and collaborators are not liable for losses, damages, misuse, or regulatory consequences resulting from reliance on these tools.

You can browse the page without agreeing, but report generation and exports will stay blocked until you accept these terms.
